THE STORY OF OUR PROJECT

Trainings for the group "Minga"

Great! Here's the revised text:

Commit and Act's work in Colombia began in 2024 and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants. Our ACT framework has been appreciated for giving them the freedom to adapt the content to their own culture. We work with various vulnerable populations, including women and girls who have experienced domestic and sexual violence and are rebuilding their lives.

Our workshops are now led by well-trained Colombian psychologist, Andrea Villarreal, who can speak English and has received training from our commit and act team. The training sessions she holds and services are led in Spanish. We tailor our ACT framework to each group's unique needs and cultural context, resulting in increased awareness, acceptance, and connection to values, self-esteem, restoration of respect and dignity, reduction of aggression and violence, better communication skills, peaceful relationships, and community development initiatives.

Your contributions and the countless hours that volunteers all over the world donate are reflected on the difference we are making in Chia.
